BERLIN—Gunmen killed 8 individuals Wednesday night in shootings in central Germany that have remaining police guessing about the motive and the variety of shooters, who stay at large, police mentioned early Thursday.
The assaults took area around ten p.m. area time when the gunmen opened fireplace on patrons of a hookah lounge in downtown Hanau, in close proximity to Frankfurt, and then fled in a dim vehicle, police mentioned. They afterwards resumed capturing in a different section of city.
