The Central Education Institute, Mannuthy less than the Directorate of Extension, Kerala Agricultural University in collaboration with Agricultural and Processed Meals Products and solutions Export Development Authority is organising a virtual Farmer-Experts interface on GI tagged rice types on Tuesday.
The aim of conference is to strengthen export-oriented creation of GI-tagged rice types in Kerala by involving farmers, business owners and other stakeholders. Authorized and legislative aid for cultivating classic rice types, troubles and prospects of cultivation of GI-tagged rice types, experiences of farmers, Very good Agricultural Techniques (Hole), advised doses of plant security inputs suitable for export, significance of adopting Optimum Residue Limits (MRLs), prospects of export of GI rice will be talked about in the interface.
As a lot of as twenty Palakkadan Matta rice cultivating farmers are envisioned to participate in offline manner at the seminar corridor.

Jayasree Krishnankutty, Director of Extension, Kerala Agricultural University reported that the aim of the Farmer-Experts interface would be doubling the income of rice farmers by export of GI rice cultivated in Kerala.
