Natco Pharma Ltd is panning to launch its very first Eco-friendly Label Pheromone product for Successful Administration of Pink Bollworm (PBW) in cotton crop duirng Kharif 2021.
“Natco Pharma is delighted to announce its foray into Pheromone based mating disruption technology for Integrated Pest Administration (IPM) alternative to farmers in India,” the Hyderabad drug maker stated in a statement on Monday.
The product will be released beneath the brand name Natmate PBW. “This is the very first pheromone-based indigenously manufactured product for mating disruption that obtained approval from Central Insecticide Board (CIB),” the enterprise stated.
Natco, via its Crop Health Science (CHS) division, is working with ATGC Biotech Pvt Ltd (ATGC) for the technology. ATGC is a science-based impressive technology enterprise concentrating on creating new biosafe molecules and instruments to defend numerous crops from insect pests, in collaboration with US-based agricultural biotech enterprise ISCA Inc.
