Ryanair launches first buy one get one free sale

Ryanair has introduced its initial “invest in 1, get 1 cost-free” sale in a bid to raise flagging passenger quantities.

Consumers who e book a flight before midnight on Thursday for travel up to December 14 on one,600 routes will get a next ticket at no extra expense.

The move follows the airline’s choice to further minimize operations because of to coronavirus travel constraints.

Its ability in October will be 40pc of 2019 stages, in contrast with the 50pc it previously declared.

Ryanair chief government Michael O’Leary stated need for long run bookings was terrible.

“Into November and December our forward bookings are working at about 10pc – that’s about a quarter of wherever they would usually be at this time of the calendar year,” he instructed Sky News.

“We won’t be able to rule out occupation losses but in Ryanair we’re definitely desperately functioning with our people today to avert them.”
